Infiniti QX starts with a breathtaking presence, a calm strength derived of clean fluid lines that attract and hold your attention. Add in an exceptional driving experience provided by a powerful yet efficient V8 engine design and available Hydraulic Body Motion Control system. Then top it all off with intuitive functionality, which anticipates and responds to the users' needs and desires. Introducing the all-new 2011 Infiniti QX, the latest example of inspired design, performance, technology and craftsmanship from Infiniti. Available in two models, the Infiniti QX56 4WD 7-passenger and QX56 4WD 8-passenger, it is scheduled to go on sale at Infiniti retailers nationwide in summer 2010.

"Following closely on the introduction of the all-new 2011 Infiniti M, the 2011 Infiniti QX gives us an incredible presence in full-size performance luxury vehicles - perfect for buyers seeking style, comfort, roominess and driving exhilaration," said Wendy Durward, Director, Infiniti Canada. "Both the new M and QX also offer a full range of available innovative technology, including Blind Spot Warning and the Infiniti QX's advanced Hydraulic Body Motion Control system."

The second-generation Infiniti QX has been totally redesigned from the platform up. Its new high-stiffness frame structure enhances ride comfort while reducing noise, vibration and harshness. The new 5.6-litre V8 engine combines the responsive acceleration of Infiniti's VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) technology with the efficiency of Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG?) and 7-speed automatic transmission. With 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, the Infiniti QX can handle tasks such as towing boats or trailers (8,500-pound towing capacity), while also offering over 10% better fuel economy than the previous generation Infiniti QX.

Inside the distinctive Infiniti QX body is an interior long on luxury, including standard Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Around View? Monitor and Bose? 2-channel, 13-speaker Premium Audio System, and perforated semi-aniline leather seating and a dual 7-inch color headrest monitor DVD system which allows different sources to be played at the same time. The 2011 Infiniti QX also offers ample 1st and 2nd row roominess, as well as generous luggage space.

An All-New Exterior With A Breathtaking Presence
The 2011 Infiniti QX is conceived to attract and hold viewers' attention, conveying its underlying sense of power and strength. The design is dynamic, its size capable of transporting eight adults and their belongings with spacious elegance. The bold front chrome grille is flanked by automatic on/off bi-functional xenon headlights with pop-up headlight washers and integrated front fog lights. Auto-leveling headlights with Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) are optionally available.

Other exterior features include LED taillights, heated, power-folding sideview mirrors with integrated turn signals, courtesy lights and reverse tilt-down feature, body colour running boards, body colour integrated front and rear splash guards built into the wheel arches, roof rails and crossbars, power sliding tinted glass moonroof and a power rear liftgate.

The new Infiniti QX features revised dimensions versus the previous generation - 1.4-inches (35.56 mm) longer, 1.1-inches (27.94 mm) wider and 3.8-inches (96.52 mm) lower in overall height. A front underbody spoiler, rear liftgate spoiler and redesigned side mirrors help provide improved aerodynamics of 0.37 Cd and zero lift. The Infiniti QX's strong presence is accented by the powerful wheel and tire combinations - standard 20-inch and available 22-inch - and a palette of six distinctive exterior colors.

"The look is clearly Infiniti with its signature Infiniti grille, broad shoulders and large greenhouse," said Durward. "It's rugged, sophisticated and completely captivating."

Power and Innovation Under the Skin
The 2011 Infiniti QX's all-new body and frame are designed to provide enhanced body stiffness and reduced vibration versus the previous QX design.

Structural changes include a new high-stiffness frame structure with enlarged side rail section width, redesigned connecting structures between each crossmember and side rails, an integrated rear hitch member, improved stiffness of the cabin mounting points and a special rear body ring structure around the tailgate.

"Customers will never be aware of the extensive efforts taken in the development of the Infiniti QX frame and body to reduce flex, rattles and squeaks - they'll just enjoy a quiet, comfortable ride that's unexpected in a full-size SUV," added Poore. "The new platform can handle family adventures to rugged terrain, without compromising its smooth ride for everyday, around-town cruising."

The second-generation Infiniti QX also offers new engine and transmission designs - delivering, a combination of power, efficiency and refinement worthy of the Infiniti name. The new 5.6-litre 32-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy V8 features Infiniti's advanced VVEL (for Variable Valve Event & Lift) technology and new Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG™) system.

The VVEL system combines hydraulic-controlled variable valve timing and electronically controlled variable valve lift on the intake side to help improve performance and response. Throttle response is enhanced by directly controlling the intake valve, rather than using the traditional method of controlling intake with the throttle valve. The VVEL system also offers improved emissions and fuel efficiency (over non-VVEL designs) by substantially reducing the intake resistance that occurs when the engine's throttle valve opening is narrowed and output is low. The new DIG™ system provides better wide-open throttle performance and improved fuel economy and emissions performance by reducing engine knock, improving combustion stability and offering more precise injection control.

The engine is rated at 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, compared with 320 horsepower and 393 lb-ft of torque produced by the 2010 QX's non-VVEL/non-DIG™ V8. With a 25% increase in horsepower, the 2011 QX does not sacrifice fuel economy, which increases by around 10% versus the 2010 Infiniti QX.

Also contributing to the enhanced fuel economy is the 2011 Infiniti QX's standard 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) and manual shift mode with Downshift Rev Match.

Versus the 2010 QX's 5-speed automatic, the new 7-speed transmission boasts a wider range of gear ratios, a variable lockup torque converter, a new improved shift schedule and a new automatic transmission fluid warmer designed to reduce fuel consumption at start up.

The Infiniti QX is offered with standard four-wheel drive, featuring Infiniti's proven All-Mode 4WD? system with Auto, 4H, and 4L modes. The system is designed to distribute torque to all four wheels when road conditions warrant (up to 50 percent can go to the front wheels on demand), helping to enhance traction.

All Infiniti QX models also include Hill Start Assist. With Hill Start Assist, if a driver stops on a slope and steps off the brake pedal, the system will keep the Infiniti QX stationary for a few seconds - with no roll back. This enables drivers to easily switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator on steep inclines.

For the first time ever on an Infiniti vehicle, a new Hydraulic Body Motion Control system is offered (available as part of the Technology Package, which also includes 22-inch wheels and tires and a number of other features). The system helps reduce body lean while turning for a more comfortable ride. Utilizing hydraulic cylinders located at the shock absorbers (connected via cross piping and two accumulators), it adjusts roll stiffness by allowing transfer of fluid between the left and right sides of the vehicle through passive weight transfer during normal driving. It also helps reduce bump shock by setting bounce and roll damping forces separately.

The Infiniti QX's suspension is an independent double-wishbone design front and rear, with Dual-Flow Path? twin tube shock absorbers, stabilizer bars and an automatic rear leveling system that seeks to maintain uniform ground clearance and departure angle, even when towing or carrying cargo, by automatically adjusting the air pressure in the system's air bladders.

Braking is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes (13.8-inch vented discs front and rear) with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD). Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and 4-wheel Active Brake Limited-Slip (ABLS) are standard on every Infiniti QX56. Engine-speed-sensitive power steering is also standard.

The Infiniti QX's maximum towing capacity is 8,500 pounds. A special tow mode revises shift patterns when engaged. Standard towing features include a Class IV tow hitch and 7-pin wiring harness integrated into the rear bumper (with a cover for an elegant appearance when not in use).

Every 2011 QX comes with 20-inch, split 7-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with P275/60R20 all-season performance tires, while 22-inch, 9-spoke forged aluminum-alloy wheels with P275/50R22 all-season performance tires are included with the Technology Package. A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with four-corner pressure readout and Tire Inflation Indicator is also standard.

"The new Infiniti QX gives drivers the feeling of a connection to the road," said Durward. "There's also a remarkable level of flat ride comfort, plenty of power and torque, and a solid feel throughout the vehicle that's reassuring and enjoyable for all passengers."

A World-Class Travel Experience
The new QX's world-class inner sanctum offers a comfortable space and personal controls for every occupant. It features standard 7-passenger seating capacity, with 8-passenger capacity available with the 2nd row 60/40-split folding bench seat. Luxurious semi-aniline leather-appointed seating is standard for all three rows. The driver's seat is 10-way power adjustable, including 2-way power lumbar support. It features a standard dual occupant memory system for the driver's seat, steering wheel and outside mirrors. The front passenger's seat is 8-way power adjustable, including 2-way power lumbar support. Climate-controlled (heating and cooling functions) front seats are standard as well as heated 2nd row seats (outboard positions only). The 2nd row captain's chairs offer a tip-up function for easy 3rd row entry/exit.

Also standard is a remote release for the 2nd row seats to activate the tip-up function through a switch on the centre stack. The 3rd row seat is a 60/40-split power folding design with reclining capability. The 2nd row centre console includes two cupholders and two storage bins.

Also standard is a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. Ample space for luggage is provided with the 3rd row seat up. When down, the flat load floor offers a wide, versatile space for carrying cargo, home furnishings or recreational gear.

Two interior colors are available - Wheat or Graphite - both with a dark wood-tone interior finisher trim.

"If you could take the interior of a private jet and transform it into a full-size SUV, this wouldn't be far off," said Durward. "From its available sofa-like semi-aniline leather seating to its premium audio and three-source entertainment systems, the Infiniti QX interior is world-class. It's a highly adaptive environment, with a quality and quietness that adds to the stress-free driving and riding experience."

The long list of additional comfort and convenience features includes 9 cupholders and 4 door-pocket bottle holders, Tri-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, Infiniti Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, FineVision electroluminescent gauges and Infiniti signature analog clock. Available as part of the Technology Package is an Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) with Plasmacluster? air purifier, Grape Polyphenol filter and auto recirculation.

Among the new Infiniti QX's standard premium entertainment and technology features are an 8-inch WVGA color touch-screen display, Infiniti Controller for use with vehicle information systems and comfort and convenience features, and the Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with Zagat? Restaurant Guide. Bluetooth? Hands-free Phone System is standard, as is the convenient Around View? Monitor with Front and Rear Sonar System. The Around View? Monitor includes a new wide rear view camera.

The Bose? 2-channel, 13-speaker Premium Audio System includes two subwoofers. Roof-mounted 3rd row speakers ensure that sound quality us not compromised by obstructions such as luggage or cargo.

Other standard equipment includes a single in-dash CD/DVD player with MP3 playback, XM? Satellite Radio, USB connection port for use with iPod Interface or other compatible devices and Streaming Audio via Bluetooth.

Other standard features include dual 7-inch colour headrest monitors, two pairs of wireless headphones, wireless remote control, auxiliary input jacks and 120V power outlet. The Infiniti QX allows playback of games or movies in the rear, while front occupants listen to audio all at the same time. The two 7-inch colour monitors include an auto-bright system that adjusts for daytime, clouds/evening and night/tunnel lighting.

Available Technology
Like the new 2011 Infiniti M sedan, the new QX offers a range of advanced technology systems. The QX includes both Infiniti's Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) systems. The LDW and LDP systems use a small camera installed behind the windshield to detect lane markers in front of the vehicle, calculate its position relative to those lane markers and help warn the driver of a potential unintended lane departure with a visual indicator and audible buzzer. If the driver does not return the vehicle back toward the centre of the travel lane, the LDP system assists the driver with a gentle application of the brakes on the opposite side of the drift.

A new Blind Spot Warning (BSW) system is also available. It illuminates an indicator light if another vehicle is detected in the blind spot area. If the driver then activates the turn signal, the indicator flashes and an audible warning sounds.

Optional on the new Infiniti QX56 is Infiniti's advanced Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range), which, using a combination of laser sensors, throttle and brake actuators and the Infiniti QX56's braking system, measures the distance to the vehicle ahead and automatically adjusts the Infiniti QX56's speed to maintain a pre-selected following distance.

Distance Control Assist (DCA), which intuitively prompts the driver to release the throttle and applies the brakes as needed in slowing traffic, is available as part of the Technology Package - along with Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and front Pre-Crash Seat Belts.

The Infiniti QX56's extensive list of standard safety features includes an Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors; roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for outboard occupant head protection for all three rows; front seat-mounted side impact supplemental air bags; 3-point front seat belts with pretensioners, load limiters and seat belt reminder; 3-point seat belts for all rear seat occupants (including centre position); front seat Active Head Restraints; and LATCH System (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren). The Infiniti QX56 also offers Zone Body construction with front and rear crumple zones and steel side-door guard beams.

"The new Infiniti QX utilizes technology, such as Distance Control Assist and Intelligent Cruise Control, as it should be - to help reduce the stress of driving without isolating the driver from the pleasure of driving," said Durward.

Models and Packages
The 2011 Infiniti QX is available in two well-equipped models: Infiniti QX56 4WD 7-passenger and Infiniti QX56 4WD 8-passenger. Each is equipped with the advanced 5.6-litre V8 and 7-speed automatic transmission and a full range of luxury and performance features including semi-aniline leather-appointed seating, Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Around View? Monitor and premium audio system.

The Technology Package is offered, allowing buyers to fine-tune their QX experience to their exact needs. The Technology Package includes 22-inch, 9-spoke forged aluminum-alloy wheels and P275/50R22 all-season performance tires, Hydraulic Body Motion Control system, and the Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS). The Technology Package also offers Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range), Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Distance Control Assist (DCA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Front Pre-Crash Seat Belts, and Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) with auto-leveling headlights.

2010 INFINITI IPL G Cabrio Concept car accident lawyers info

2010 INFINITI IPL G Cabrio Concept
Japanese car pictures, INFINITI pictures 1600 x 1200 pixels

Infiniti's passion for cars - and the art, craft and technology that goes into making them so special - is given full rein at the 2010 Paris Motor Show with the debut of the Infiniti IPL G Cabrio Concept.

Infiniti's most seductive car, appropriately unveiled in one of Europe's most romantic cities, builds on the fine looks and sporting nature of the production G Cabrio to raise the temperature in the luxury cabriolet stakes.

Resplendent in new Malbec Black - a pearlescent black paint with red hints - and Monaco Red leather interior complemented by unique new cabin inlays inspired by the finessed craftsmanship of samurai armour, the ultimate G Cabrio in concept form is a bespoke and very exclusive fulfilment of Infiniti design values.

As well as previewing a dramatic new look and classically luxurious cabin, the world's sexiest four-seat cabriolet with electric folding hard-top - probably - provides a tantalising vision of a new range of Infiniti models to extend the Japanese brand's reach further into the performance car market.

The Paris debut follows on from the unveiling in the USA in August of the first production Infiniti Performance Line variant, the G Coupé, with which the IPL badge has been launched in North America.

The Infiniti IPL G Cabrio Concept shares many of the IPL G Coupé's enhancements, all carefully calculated to take the Infiniti experience up a level. The IPL brief is to redefine total vehicle performance, so while power, acceleration and handling all benefit, so do more emotive aspects like the sound of the engine, the look of the details and the feel of the materials.

Already perhaps the most handsome hard-top cabriolet whether the three-piece electric roof is up or down - an operation that takes just 25 seconds - the Paris concept's exterior changes sum up the dynamic character behind the IPL badge. Perfectly poised on its new 19-inch split-rim 7-spoke graphite-finish alloy wheels, the Infiniti IPL G Cabrio Concept's stand-out style is based around a sporting new front-end look. A new bumper section and blacked-out grille and headlight surrounds bring an aggressive new edge to the Cabrio while integrating perfectly with the rest of the design.

Sculptured side sill extensions work with the bigger wheels and slightly lowered body to accentuate the purposeful new stance. A body-colour bootlid spoiler, based on the aerodynamic design of that fitted to the IPL G Coupé, adorns the rear.

The interior trim finishers are unique to the Paris concept. The centre console is finished with black lacquer while the dashboard area above the glove box and doors are adorned with KACCHU, the name given to the armour used by Japan's feudal warlords, or samurai, in the Middle Ages. Small iron plates were woven through textile to provide not just great strength but also flexibility and light weight. Because the highly skilled process allowed for a multitude of colours and patterns, the most elaborate KACCHU designs were a sign of great power and wealth.

Under the bonnet of the Infiniti IPL G Cabrio Concept is Infiniti's charismatic 3.7-litre V6 boasting 338 PS, 18 PS more than standard thanks to a high-flow dual exhaust system. It doesn't just sound great but also reduces exhaust pressure by 30%, further enhancing engine efficiency. The point at which peak power is developed has been boosted, from 7000 to 7400 rpm - high revs which the VQ engine's motor racing-inspired "bed plate" construction technique can take in its stride.

Maximum torque output is increased - from 360 to 374 Nm - but most important the shape of the torque curve has been refined so performance doesn't feel in any way peaky, maintaining the linear acceleration so crucial to any Infiniti.

The Cabrio Concept's running gear has been upgraded, again following the lead set by the IPL G Coupé. Sports suspension, with 10% stiffer springs and recalibrated dampers, are fitted and the body sits a little lower.

Top speed of the de-restricted concept car, which has a seven speed automatic transmission with magnesium paddle shifts, is more than 270 km/h, with 0-100 km/h available in under 6 seconds.

Nothing in the IPL philosophy calls for a let-up in the provision of features as standard. The Infiniti IPL G Cabrio Concept maintains this Infiniti advantage by being superbly well equipped with an array of innovative comfort, convenience and safety technologies - just like the GT Premium model on which it is based and which has been available as part of the G Line in Infiniti Centres across Europe for more than a year.

So in league with the high performance looks and ability are features such as noise-cancelling technology, head restraint-mounted "personal" speakers, seats with internal heating and cooling and adaptive climate control. The 13-speaker premium sound system is by Bose® while suggestions on where to visit, stay or eat and drink are sourced from the Michelin Guides directly into the 30 GB hard disk drive navigation. It's just one part of the all-encompassing functionality of the Connectiviti+ infotainment system which the G Cabrio first introduced to the world at the model's launch in 2009.

2010 INFINITI FX Limited Edition car accident lawyers, pictures.

2010 INFINITI FX Limited Edition
Japanese car pictures, INFINITI pictures 1600 x 1200 pixels

The Infiniti FX Line of performance crossovers might already be one of the rarest and best equipped cars in its class but this has not stopped customers demanding an even more exclusive version. Infiniti is responding with a very special, limited run of the FX37S and FX50S called, simply, the Infiniti FX Limited Edition.

The Infiniti FX Limited Edition will be rare indeed. Availability has been strictly limited to just 100 units across Western Europe. Based on the already dramatic looking FX37S and FX50S, the Limited Edition features striking Black Obsidian 'Scratch Guard' paintwork as standard, with equally distinctive Moonlight White pearl metallic available as an option. Unique 21 inch 'Turbine' design alloy wheels are finished in dark Graphite, as are the radiator grille, air vents and roof rails.

The Infiniti FX Limited Edition's interior is equally breathtaking. Opening one of the doors reveals illuminated 'Infiniti' entry guards and a carefully co-ordinated combination of the finest natural materials, including supple Graphite leather upholstery with contrasting stitching and a luxurious Alcantara® headlining. Genuine Carbon fibre is used extensively on the dashboard, centre console and door panels, replacing the standard cello flame maple wood veneer. Completing the Infiniti FX Limited Edition's extensive standard specification, Infiniti's state-of-the-art Connectiviti+ technology package provides a fully integrated navigation, communication and entertainment system including an 11-speaker Bose® Premium Sound System, the Michelin Guide, full iPod connectivity and a 10GB music box with Gracenotes database. An option on the standard FX37S, this is joined on both the V6 and V8 engined Limited Editions by Infiniti's unique Around View Monitor.

Exterior styling
With its breathtaking combination of sports car proportions and muscular SUV stance, the FX is an unmistakable performance luxury crossover. The Infiniti FX Limited Edition accentuates these unique design qualities with a choice of standard Black Obsidian 'Scratch Guard' paint or optional Moonlight White pearl metallic, together with dark smoked headlight surrounds that give the Infiniti FX Limited Edition a more distinctive 'face'.

Further drama comes courtesy of the Infiniti FX Limited Edition's 'Turbine' design alloys wheels, so called because the spokes of the wheels are shaped in such a way as aid the flow of cooling air to the sports brakes. Uniquely finished in dark graphite grey - together with the distinctive 'double-wave' radiator grille, air vents and roof rails - they are fitted with 265/45 R21W tyres and fill the wheel arches to perfection.

Interior environment
The Infiniti philosophy of Modern Luxury is exemplified in the Infiniti FX Limited Edition's stylish and comprehensively appointed interior. From the supple Graphite leather upholstery complete with quilted stitching, to the opulent Alcantara® trimmed headlining and roof pillars and wool carpets, only the finest natural materials are used. Illuminated 'Infiniti' door entry guards are also unique to the Infiniti FX Limited Edition.

The extensive use of genuine carbon fibre across the dashboard, centre console and door panels provides an appropriately high-tech contrast to the soft-touch natural materials and provides a fitting backdrop to the Infiniti FX Limited Edition's standard Connectiviti+ infotainment system. Employing the very latest Hard Disk Drive (HDD) technology it features a fully integrated satellite navigation system with 42-country, Europewide coverage and, in a world-first collaboration with Michelin Green Guide, a database of some 22,000 addresses, which enables the location and booking of leading hotels and restaurants while on the move.

The Connectiviti+ multi-media system also includes a powerful 11-speaker Bose Premium Sound System, a 10GB direct record Music Box that can store up to 300 albums' worth of your favourite music, plus a DVD player, USB port for MP3 players and Bluetooth hands-free mobile phone connectivity.

Additional standard equipment includes electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof, Infiniti's keyless entry and start system, and magnesium paddle shifts that work in conjunction with the seven-speed automatic gearbox. Also included is startling performance that sees the V8 powered Limited Edition speeding to 62mph in just 5.8 seconds with the V6 version only a second behind. Traction in all weathers is assured by intelligently controlled, all-wheel drive.

2009 INFINITI G37 Convertible car accident lawyers, pictures

2009 INFINITI G37 Convertible
Japanese car pictures, INFINITI pictures 1600 x 1200 pixels

Infiniti has released new pictures and details of its fifth body-style for Europe, the Infiniti G37 Convertible. Arguably Infiniti's most seductive car yet, the G37 Convertible will go on sale across Europe from summer 2009.

As the latest expression of 'Inspired Performance' by Infiniti, the Infiniti G37 Convertible combines beautiful styling, exciting performance and a three-piece retracting hardtop that is designed to look as good with the top up as it does down. This "dual beauty" is a rare event among coupé convertibles.

The Infiniti G37 Convertible offers an all-new design from the A-pillar back compared to the Infiniti G37 Coupé, with extensive structural reinforcements, a wider rear track, modified rear suspension and a special convertible-focused interior with rear pop-up bar and available headrest audio speakers, wind deflector and climate controlled front seats.

The Infiniti G37 Convertible, like its coupe sister, is powered by the 3.7-litre VQ-series V6 with VVEL (for Variable Valve Event and Lift) rated at 320PS. The engine is backed by a choice of an electronically controlled seven-speed automatic transmission with magnesium paddle shifters or a responsive close-ratio six-speed manual transmission.

The G37 Convertible's inviting interior includes standard leather seats, an available Bose® open air sound system that dynamically changes equalization based on outside noise, roof position and vehicle speed, an adaptive dual zone climate control system that adjusts fan speed in accordance to roof position and vehicle speed, and available climate-controlled seats that provide both heating and cooling functions. Uniquely, a rear parking camera is standard.

Seductive Styling Inside and Out
The Infiniti G37 Convertible maintains a coupé-like silhouette with the top up through use of a special three-piece "clamshell" retractable hardtop, which allows for use of a shorter rear overhang and low boot lid. Compared to G Coupé, the Infiniti G37 Convertible utilizes all-new body panels from the A-pillar back, along with a 28mm wider overall width, broader rear track and modified rear suspension.

The automatic top opening/closing sequence takes approximately 30 seconds from start to finish. The open/close switch is located on centre console, just behind the gearshift lever.

Along with its G Coupé-like proportions, the Infiniti G37 Convertible offers signature Infiniti styling cues such as flowing front curves, a wave-style aluminium bonnet, expressive front face with double-arch grille and L-shaped High-Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlights with integrated fog lamps. At the rear, the taillights are unique to the Infiniti G37 Convertible, incorporating an inner "circle of light" for added distinction at night. The chrome rear boot-lid finisher incorporates both an integrated high-mount brake-light and the small camera for the standard parking monitor system.

Infiniti's advanced "self-healing" Scratch Shield paint is standard with two Infiniti G37 Convertible-exclusive colours, Midnight Garnet and Pacific Sky.

The interior design combines sophistication, craftsmanship and thoughtfulness with unique, available systems created to enhance the open-air driving experience. The driver-oriented cockpit features an Infiniti signature "double wave" instrument panel design with Infiniti electroluminescent instrumentation with white-and-violet illumination, integrated multi-function information drive computer display and analogue Infiniti clock. The double hand-stitched leather-covered steering wheel is designed for maximum comfort and usability, with standard wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls. Genuine magnesium paddle shifters are standard for the 7-speed automatic transmission.

Special "Silk Obi" aluminium interior trim, inspired by fine Japanese silk, is located across the instrument panel, on the centre console and on the door panels in a shape redolent of Japanese spears. Also available are two choices of genuine wood trim. Leather-upholstered seating is standard and is offered in three colours shared with the Coupé - Graphite (black), Wheat and Stone - and a fourth that will be unique to the Convertible.

Heated 8-way power driver/8-way front passenger seats are standard, with climate-controlled seats (with heating and cooling functions) available as an option. A power walk-in device with position memory provides easy access to the 2nd row seats (the front seats move forward automatically at the touch of a button to allow passengers into the rear seats). A rear wind deflector helps reduce wind turbulence when the top is down.

The Infiniti G37 Convertible's long list of comfort and convenience features includes standard Infiniti Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition and an Adaptive Dual Zone Climate Control System includes an advanced air conditioning system that adjusts to provide optimal comfort with the top up or down.

Two audio systems are available, starting with a standard 6-speaker AM/FM/6CD system with MP3 playback capability, Radio Data System (RDS) and centre console-mounted auxiliary input plus 7-inch color display. The second option is a 13-speaker Infiniti Bose® open air sound system that automatically optimizes EQ settings for open/closed top positions. The system's special Bose® Personal Headrest Speakers, mounted in the front seat headrests, enable superior front audio quality regardless of the top position.

Liberating Dynamic Performance
Like the G Coupé and G37 Sedan, the new Infiniti G37 Convertible's outstanding dynamic performance credentials start with a combination of its advanced FM platform and award-winning V6 engine. Every Infiniti G37 Convertible comes equipped with a standard 3.7-litre V6 engine with VVEL (for Variable Valve Event and Lift), rated at 320PS.

The VVEL system combines hydraulic-controlled variable valve timing and electronically controlled variable valve lift on the intake side, helping to improve not only performance and response but also emissions and fuel efficiency (over a non-VVEL system). It also provides cleaner emissions by allowing for quicker warm-up of the catalyst and by stabilizing combustion when the engine is cool.

The Infiniti G37 Convertible is available with a choice of an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, downshift rev matching, Drive Sport (DS) mode and Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) that allows for quicker shifts in sporty driving situations and magnesium paddle shifters; or a responsive, lightweight close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission.

The G37 Convertible's responsive handling and ride performance is provided by its advanced FM (Front Mid-ship) platform design, which optimizes front/rear weight balance and creates a rigid, stable foundation for the 4-wheel independent suspension. The front suspension is a double-wishbone design, with a single pivot lower wishbone and a long upper link. The multi-link rear suspension separates the shock absorbers and springs, locating the shock absorber inline with the wheel center. These designs help minimise alignment changes and reduce suspension friction for nimble handling and smooth riding characteristics.

Responsive steering is provided by a vehicle-speed-sensing system. Also standard on the Infiniti G37 Convertible is Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with cancel switch and Traction Control System (TCS).

Braking performance is provided by standard 4-wheel vented discs with 4-channel, 4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. The Infiniti G37 Convertible will also be available with larger ventilated rotors (14.0-inch front/13.8-inch rear) and aluminum four-piston calipers front/two-piston calipers rear, embossed with Infiniti lettering.

Infiniti's Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) with Brake Assist, which helps in maintaining a consistent following distance from the car ahead, will be optional. It also identifies sudden braking situations with laser sensors to determine distance and relative speed of the car ahead in the same lane and "pre-pressurizes" the Brake Assist system before the driver steps on the brake pedal.

Split 5-spoke 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with P225/50VR18 front and P245/45R18 rear tyres are standard on the Infiniti G37 Convertible, while special 19-inch cast aluminum-alloy wheels with high performance tires (P225/45WR19 front and P245/40WR19 rear) will be optional.

The rear seat includes fixed head restraints with a rear pop-up bar. The Infiniti G37 Convertible also features reinforced front side members, front pillars and body sills.

Pennsylvania Personal Injury and Car Accident Attorney!
Working to Get the Best Possible Results for You!

At the Law Offices of Timothy D. McNair, I have represented individuals and families affected by personal injury in Erie, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas since 1987.

Being hurt in an accident can be a traumatic and emotional time. If you or a loved one have been hurt in a car or truck accident, or a slip and fall incident, you may be dealing with a serious injury involving low back and neck pain, and you and your family may be affected by medical bills and lost wages, not to mention emotional trauma, Many times, there are issues of carelessness or "negligence" involving another party. A motor vehicle driver may not have followed the rules of the road, or a landowner involved in premises liability may have provided inadequate security.

Along with trained legal staff, I am a Pennsylvania personal injury lawyer who will diligently work to ensure that you receive the compensation you deserve. I know the importance of investigating an accident as soon as possible, and I have an understanding of the medical issues involved. I am effective at presenting each case in court because I have access to medical experts if necessary, and I can provide a referral for you for effective medical treatment.

The types of personal injury cases I handle include, but are not limited to:

= Motorcycle Accidents
= Car Wrecks
